I just wanted to post a shop response to a negative customer review about the Fuji Declaration. Firstly, I'd like to clarify that there are 2 generations of Declarations available. The Green and Black ones have the older style narrow 700X 28 mm thick slicks and slightly narrower bars. The White and Powder Blue ones have 38mm CST Parkour tires and wider bars that seem to bother Vlad. The new ones also have nicer Tektro brakes and higher quality wheels with a machined braking track. Most riders have found that a wide tire provides much more comfort and resistance to flats while still allowing plenty of speed. I hope everyone can find a Declaration that suits them. It's a pretty easy bike to love, especially now that they are on sale for $399.
